This object allows you to have access to the system's clipboard. Under Linux you also have access to the selection buffer.

Constructor function.

1. mode - (Mode) the clipboard mode

Create a Clipboard object.

var myObject = new Clipboard();

Create a Clipboard object to the selection buffer.

var myObject = new Clipboard(Clipboard.Selection);

Set the clipboard mode.

myObject.setMode(mode);

1. mode - (Mode) the clipboard mode

• (Clipboard) this Clipboard

• (UnsupportedSelectionModeError) this mode is not supported under this operating system

Sets the clipboard text.

myObject.setText(text);

1. text - (string) the text to write to the clipboard

Sets the clipboard image.

myObject.setImage(image);

1. image - (Image) the image to write to the clipboard

Returns the content of the clipboard as text.

myObject.text();

• (string) the content of the clipboard as text

Returns the content of the clipboard as an image.

• (Image) the content of the clipboard as an image

Returns the current clipboard content type.

myObject.dataType();

• (DataType) the current clipboard content type
